RUNANGA NOTES

[OL’R OWN CORRESPONDENT.] At the Presbyterian Church Hall on Monday evening the Runanga W.E.A. Circle met to bid farewell to Miss O. Duff, who is leaving the district. An apology for absence was received from Mrs. Meade. The evening was spent in games and competitions. Items were rendered by Mesdames R. Barker and Braithwaite, and Miss M. Mann. After a dainty supper was served, Mrs. T. Millar, the leader of the Circle, took tho opportunity of making a presentation to Miss Duff, and expressed the regret of the members at her departure. Mesdames Mann and Braithwaite endorsed the remarks of the leader. The singing of "Auld Lang Syno" terminated an enjoyable evening.
