Mr and Mrs W. Dando, of Taylorville, have left on a holiday visit to Nelson.
The Monday evening euchre tournament, held in the Taylorville school under the auspices of the School Committee resulted in £he following being the prize-winners: Mrs E. Dando and Messrs J. Russell and T. Nimmo.
The Brunner Defence Rifle Club journeyed to Westport on Sunday to shoot a match against the Westport Defence Club. Westport won easily by 22 points. The conditions were seven shots at each range, and the following were the scores: —
