KISCH WILL LEAVE AUSTRALIA.

MELBOURNE, February 26.
With the permission of the Commonwealth Government, Egon Kisch will leave Australia almost immediately. It was stated, at a meeting of the committee which is arranging a torchlight procession for the release of Kisch and Griffin ,that Kisch would be allowed to catch a, boat, for England on Thursday.
The Acting Attorney-General (Senator Brennan) stated that negotiations were proceeding between the Commonwealth law authorities and Kisch’s legal advisers, by which the Commonwealth would consent to Kisch leaving Australia.
At present, Kisch is under sentence of three months’ imprisonment, for being an undesirable prohibited immigrant. He appealed successfully twice- to the High Court, and lias two appeals pending. By the Commonwealth agreeing to his leaving, these appeals will be dropped, and the Commonwealth will not seek to have Kisch. serve his sentence.
