DEPTH OF THE BAR The depth of the bar and river at high water yesterday was:—Bar, 20ft. Gins.; river, 19ft., 6ins. ARRIVED December 30. —Bondi, m.v., 10 tons (Anderson), 5 p.m., from New Plymouth. SAILED December 29.—Parera, s.s., 251 tons (Kanerva), 2.45 p.m., for Picton. December 31.—Bondi, m.v., 10 tons (Anderson), 9.25 a.m., for Big Wanganui. IN PORT Nil. EXPECTED ARRIVALS Rata. Westport, to-night. PROJECTED DEPARTURES Rata, Onakaka, early. SHIPPING NOTES The Rata is due to-night, from Wellington, via Westport, to load coal for Onakaka and timber for Wellington. The Parera sailed on Saturday afternoon, for Picton and Wellington. The Bondi arrived yesterday from New Plymouth and sailed this morning for Big Wanganui (South Westland).
