AUSTRALIAN TOUR [BY CABLE —PBESS ASSN. —COPYBIGHT.J LONDON, September 16. The Australians played an exhibition match against North of Scotland at Forres. Australia scored 137 (Darling 31, Kippax 29, Braid 4/21). North of Scotland replied with 103 (Bremner 25, Peebles twenty-eight). All the Australians bowled with the exception of Kippax who kept wickets. A solution of the bodyline difficulty will be sought at a round-table discussion at Lord’s on September 20, to which the Australians have been invited. This is expected to be the prelude to a definite Marylcbone pronouncement. (’l-lAMPIONS V. THE REST. LONDON, September 15. The Rest, in the first innings lost 9 for 385 (Walters 79, Leyland 182) against Lancashire.
