SPRING SCENES BY RAIL.
New Zealand has more than 3,000 route miles of railway, traversing landscapes which are beautiful all the year round, and are specially charming in the Spring. With * ordinary fares at less than a penny a mile, secondclass, and a slight fraction over a penny, first-class, and special concessions for families and parties, the Railway Department is doing its utmost to encourage New Zealanders to see their own marvellous country.
