Chulam Hussian, middle aged Moslem described as “Jack the Ripper,” was sentenced to life imprisonment; on a charge of murdering 12 women. The crimes were committed over a period of seven years. The first victim was a girl aged 12, and the last a woman aged GO. He cleverly eluded the whole Hyderabad State police. He generally attacked his victims at dusk, in lonely places.
