RUNANGA NOTES

[Otjb OWN COREEBPOWDENT.] At the monthly meeting of the Runanga Women’s Institute, Mrs A. Boddy presided over a large attendance. The roll call was “The Many Uses of Salt,” and proved interesting and amusing. The competition was papier mache and was Avon by Mrs Oakley, with Mrs Jenkinson second and Mrs Wafer third. The hostesses were Mesdames Oakley, Skelton, Caldwell, Williamson and Timlin. The guest of the afternoon was Mrs Ward, jun., of Ahaura.
