SEAMEN IN IRONS
AFFRAY AT MELBOURNE. [BY CABLY—PRESS ASSN.—COPYBIGHT.] (Recd. September 6, 11 a.m.) MELBOURNE, September 6. Following a dispute between two seamen on the Danish motorship Lundby, at Victoria Docks, the cook’s galley was almost wrecked, and later two seamen were placed in irons. When the Lundby left for Sydney,! the seamen were still imprisoned in the hold in irons, awaiting the judgment of the master, Captain Ericksen.
