Revolution had fulfilled all expectations, but it was necessarv to warn fanatics that the
j revolution had now concluded. There ‘would be no more German revolutions j for a thousand years. The Nazi movement had completely mastered Germany. The proclamation asked, “Who dares to contend Nazi leaders are not the cream of the movement? The leaders, therefore, are determined to maintain their power, not surrendering to anybody.’’ The proclamation proceeded: The Army’s position as sole arms-bearer provides a final security for the new State, and in view of this, our enemies’ pleasure in regarding four million Noes as a source of danger makes us smile. We have done everything possible to seek friendship of war-time opponents, realising a new European war would inevitably produce Communistic chaos. r l he proclamation claimed that the unemployed were reduced by 4,500,iOOO. The Nazis wore determined to 'build up one great evangelical church. It is also hoped to reach a complete understanding with the Vatican.
