COBDEN TOWN DISTRICT
ELECTION NOMINEES. Nominations for the bi-ennial election of Cobden Town Board members, and the election of Cobden Towm Board representatives on the Grey River Hospital and the Grey Electric Power Boards closed at noon to-day, and as more nominations than the requisite number of representatives on the two latter bodies have been received, the elections will be held on Wednesday, Septembei’ 19. Though eight nominations were received for the seven positions on the Town Board, no election will be necessary, as one of the nominees, Uriah John Mettrick, subsequently withdrew to save an election. The nominations are as follow: — Grey River Hospital Board (one required): Albert Henry McKane (nominated by Messrs R. ißamage and F. W. Baillie), and Frederick Lovell Turley (sitting member), nominated by Messrs U. J. Mettrick and R. Marley. Grey .Electric Power Board (one re- ] quired): Frederick Lovell Turley[ ; (sitting member) and Albert Henry McKane. Cobden Town Board (seven required): Albert Henry McKane, Frederick William Baillie, Richard Marley, Frederick James Petherbridge, William Frederick George Pullin, Ronald Ramage (sitting members), Frederick Lovell Turley.
