DETTON V. FELICE. [PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH, September 5. Dean Detton beat Tony Felice in a professional wrestling bout to-night by two falls to one. Felice secured the first fall in the fourth round with a body press, after a series of dumps. In the sixth round, Felice submitted to a Boston Crab. Detton won the deciding fall in the next round with a body press after flying tackles. SOUTH ISLAND AMATEURS.

DUNEDIN, September 5. The South Island amateur wrestling championships were held here tonight. The successful men will meet the winners of the North Island championships in the New Zealand wrestling championships at Wellington. Results were: — Light-heavy: A. K. Asher (Canterbury) beat A. Hobbs (South Canterbury) ; A. K. Asher beat C. Turner (Otago). Welter: F. Corry (Otago) beat L. Thomas (Canterbury). Middle: L. Coughlan (Otago) beat W. Mitchell (Canterbury). Bantam: J. Dick (Otago,) beat R. A. Mundy (Canterbury). Feather: S. Todd (Canterbury) beat A. Beveridge (Otago). Light: G. Terry (Otago) beat G. F. Genet (Canterbury). Heavy: T. Anderson (Otago) beat A. K. Asher (Canterbury).
