REEFTON NOTES

[OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] 11 REEFTON, September 5. Messrs. Thos. McKenzie, M. Morris and P. Scott who have been in the North Island-as members of the South Island representative League football team, returned to Reefton yesterday. Mrs S. Dorg, of Blackwater, is visiting Reefton. Workmen are engaged in repairing the concrete facing of the Post Office. The facing is chipped and frost-crack-ed in places. A basket ball match will be played this afternoon between Reefton Old Girls Club and Cronadun. A visit is expected this week-end from a Westport representative team, and during the month of September, a representative team from the Old Girls’ Club will visit Canterbury.
