Prince Nicolas, of Greece, father of Princess Marina, who is engaged to Prince George, in an exclusive interview with the “Daily Mail. by telephone, said: “The young couple are ideally happy. They have expressed the wish that they may marrj as soon as possible. I myself love England passionately. When oui child is there, it will be like the returning of the happy days which I used to spend when I visited my beloved Aunt Alexandra and the de ; lightful English people, i want to thank the British Empire for the way in which they have received the engagement.” ELIZABETH AS BRIDESMAID. LONDON. August 31. Official circles have been informed that Prince George will return to London on September 8. He will fly from Paris in the Prince of Wales’s aeroplane. Princess Marina will come later. It is almost certain that Princess Elizabeth will be a bridesmaid at the wedding.

Telegrams of congratulation from all parts of the world continue to be received by the King and Prince George on the betrothal to Princess Marina. Sir Isaac Isaacs, GovernorGeneral of Australia, sent a telegram to ,the King from the Government of the Commonwealth, and the' people of Australia, offering loyal heartfelt felicitations and good wishes.
