[BY CABLE —PBIB9 ABflN. —COPYRIGHT.] RAMMED WHALE. SYDNEY, August 31. The whale rammed by the Manly ferry on Wednesday, was found dead in the harbour and towed out to sea. A deep gash on one side was evidence of the collision. SAWMILL ON FIRE. SYDNEY, August 31. Damage estimated at £7OOO was paused by fire which destroyed Pidcock Brothers’ sawmill at Casino. This was the second occasion within fit years that tho Pidcocks have lost a sawmill by fire.
