RESULTS AT MT. RUAPEHU. [PER PBEBB ASSOCIATION.) THE CHATEAU, August 29. Good weather again prevailed for Iho concluding day of the New Zealand Amateur Ski Championships at Mount Ruapehi. The inter-club relay race was held, but the championship jump was abandoned owing to lack of a suitable jumping hill under the present snow conditions. During the relay race, E. C. A. Ferrier (Canterbury Winter Sports Club) fell and was struck on the head. A following competitor assisted him on the course, but. his injuries were not serious. The relay race resulted: Mt. Egmont Alpine Club (H. E. Murphy, AV. Snowdon, Misses P. and J.. Murphy) 1, Christchurch Ski Club (AV. Myhre. L. H. Frankel. Mrs. A. B. Edwards, Miss L Pavton) 2: Tasman Ski Club (H. H. Elworthy, R. Wigley, Miss P. BoydWilson, Miss C. Weston) 3. Nine teams competed in the event. The New Zealand Ski Running Championship was decided on the combined performances in the downhill and slalom events earlier m the meeting. The result was: T. W.
