GREYMOUTH SITTING. There are no criminal cases on the list for the quarterly sitting of the Supreme Court at Greymouth, which is scheduled to commence next Wednesday. Mr Justice Johnston will preside. The list is as follows: — Civil: Kate Learmont (Mr. Hannan) v. Peter Joseph McLean and Oliver McLean (Duncan and Cotterill) alleged agreement to pay £lOOO. On Appeal: Maurice Moore (Mr. A. H. Paterson) v. James Deen Brosnan (Mr. Kitchingham) possession of tenement. Fredk. Charles Marshall (Mr. Murdoch) v. Albert Cederman (Mr. Elcock) Warden’s Decision re a Pipe Line. Miscellaneous: In estate of Thomas O’Donnell, Boyle (Mr. Hannan) v. Public Trustee (Mr. Brosnan), originating summons, Family Protection Act Mr. Donnelley for beneficiaries. Alexander Mines (Mr I. Patterson) v. Inangahua Gold and Coal Mines Industrial Union of Workers, and the Conciliation Commissioner (a) Injunction, (b) Certiorari. (Plaintiff alleges that iifclustrial dispute should not be taken under “The Labour Disputes Investigation Act, 1913”). In Divorce: Herbert Henry Hart (Mr W. P. McCarthy) v. Sarah Jane Hart, three years’ separation. There are no jury cases set down for hearing. The action in which H. S. Smith, of Christchurch, claimed £290 on an option to purchase certain land situated at -the junction of Herbert, Mackay and Boundary Streets, Greymouth, from Duncan McLean, Ltd., and which was removed from the Magistrate’s Court into the Supreme Court, has been settled, to the satisfaction of both parties;
