SHOOTS CAPTAIN’S WIFE

LOVE DRAMA IN MOROCCO PARIS, June 28. A drama of military service in the desert has occurred at. Fez, in French Morocco, where a lieutenant of the 15th Regt, of Moroccan Riflemen killed his captain, wounded the captain's wife, and committed suicide. Lt. Chamsky and Ca.pt. de Lompuy, besides being companions at arms, were close friends. Both were married. One had two children, and the other four. Yesterday Capt. de Lompuy was lunching with his wife, his children, and two friends at his house, a few miles outside Fez.

Suddenly Lt. Chamsky burst into tlio room. He had a revolver in his hand, and. without a word, fired at Mme. de Lompuy. The bullet struck her in the chest, and there is little hope of saving her life. The lieutenant then fired at the captain, who died an hour later, and turning the revolver on himself dropped dead in the room.
