REEFTON, July 23.
Miss Eileen Buckley, who has been visiting Invercargill, returned to Reefton <m Saturday.
Mr. E. Nicholson, was a week-end visitor to Greymouth.
The following members have been nominated tor official positions on the Reefton Trotting Club: President, Mr. C. Wills; Vice President, Mr. W. J. Burry; Committee. Messrs C. Coxall, R. Cook, H. Palmer, W. Power, T. Fielding, T. Dellaca, Archer, T. H. Lee.
Owing to weather conditions, Star Rugby Football Club were unable to muster a full team to travel to Ikamatua on Sunday.
In the senior Rugby match, Waratah v. Blackspoint, the local team won, scores being 6—3. The junior match, Cronadun v. Waratah proved a draw. Weather conditions were bad and attendances at the matches were poor. After a mild spell earlier in the week in which the snow disappeared from the lower levels of the ranges, the weather broke again and a further fall of snow came down on Saturday and the foothills are carrying a light coating.
