In a very one-sided wrestling encounter at the Town Hall last night, Walker defeated Santen by two falls to nil. ' The first fall came in the fourth round per medium of the dump. Santen had barely risen from the chair at the opening of the fifth round, when Walker picked him up bodily and dumped him again severely, Santen apparently being unable to continue. All through Walker seemed to be toying with his opponent, who was totally outclassed.

MINIATURE RIFLE CLUB. The members of the Ladies’ Miniature Rifle Club met at the range last evening to decide the final shoot for the Sports’ trophy, Miss E. Tilleyshoi’t was the winner of the Hotty Button with a score of 68 out of a possible 70. Miss R. Woollett was the winner of the trophy with a score of 135.35. Mrs Seebeck was runner-up • with 134.4. Tho following were the scores with percentage handicaps: — Score H’cap Total.

Basketball fixtures set down for McGinley Park, to-morrow, will now be played at the Main School ground, at the same times.
