WAR SHELL EXPLODES
FOUR LIVES LOST. [by CABLE —PRESS ASSN. —COPYRIGHT.] (Received June 12, 10 a.m.) BELGRADE, June 11. A farm labourer just re-employed after months of unemployment, was hammering a blade of a. scythe on an old piece of iron, which proved to be a German six-inch shell. It exploded and killed the labourer, his wife and two daughters. Nineteen have been killed in Jugo Slavia in 1931. hv the explosion of war shells, and several thousands since 1918.
