UNION CO’S. VESSELS. I USB PRESS ASSOCIATION'.] WELLINGTON, June 8. As the result of the shipping trouble in Wellington, the recommissioning of the steamer Maori in the WellingtonLyttelton passenger service has been delayed. The Maori was to have replaced the Wahine in the service tomorrow, the Wahine then withdrawing at this port until the summer months. As the change over will not take place this week, the Wahine will leave here as usual to-morrow evening for Lyttelton, while the Maori will remain out of commission for an indefinite period. Some uncertainty has been expressed regarding the recommissioning of the Makura, which, under ordinary circumstances, would leave Wellington next Tuesday for San Francisco. Alter being overhauled here the Mali lira was to have come out of dock today; but it was decided to leave her in dock. Whether a crew will be signed on remains to be seen. The Maunganui, which left Sydney yesterday for Wellington, was to have been withdrawn on arrival, and to undergo an extensive overhaul, her cargo and passengers for San Francisco and the intervening islands being taken by the Makura. As the position is at present indefinite, it is understood that there is a possibility that the Maunganui may be required to complete her trip to America.
