RUNANGA NOTES

[OUB OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Mr. and Mrs. Clay, left, this morning, for Christchurch. Mr. and Mrs. W. Murphy left this morning for Christchurch, where Mr. Murphy will undergo medical treatment. Messrs V. and R. Armstrong left, this morning, on a visit to Wellington. Mr. W. Brown, Dunollie, has left on a visit to Huntly. Miss M. Hall has returned from a holiday visit to Christchurch. , A kitchen evening was held last evening at the residence of Miss B. McNeil, Cobden in honour of the forthcoming marriage of Miss Susan Bell of Runanga. Songs were rendered by Mrs. Howat, Misses Gilmour and McNeil also musical items by Mrs. Airns and McLean. After supper, the floors were cleared for dancing, the music being supplied by the Gaiety Orchestra.
