At the end of a three-weeks’ billiards tournament, Lindrum defeated McConachy by the narrow margin of 592. The scores were: Lindrum 25,592 (including breaks of 624 and 507); McConachy 25,000 (including breaks of 328, 418 and 283). WRESTLING. NAPIER, May 12. Harry Mamos (Greece), defeated Charlie Santen (America) in a professional wrestling bout last night. Santen gained a submission fall with a double toe-hold in the third round, but Manios, after dumping the American in the fifth with a back loop slam, was awarded the bout in the next round, when Santen was unable to continue.
