REEFTON NOTES
[OUB OWN COBRESPONDENT.] REEFTON, May 14. A meeting of the Inangahua Miners’ Union was held at Waiuta on Saturday, when the question of taking a ballot on the Blackwater Company’s terms for the resumption of work was considered. 'l'he taking of a secret ballot was rejected by the members of the Union, by a substantial majority. A general meeting of the Union was also held at Reefton on Sunday morning. Mrs Felton, of Christchurch, arrived in Reefton, on Saturday night, on a visit to her daughter, Mrs F. Hampson.
