POLISH SMUGGLERS CAUGHT. [BY CABLE —PBESS ASSN. —COPYRIGHT.] (Received April 13, 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, April 12. Intercepted on their arrival at London from Holland, three Poles named Turec, Popielec, and Najmark were charged, at Bow Street, with being in possession of forged insurance stamps to the value of £44,700. In their evidence, Turec and Popielec denied that the trunks were

theirs, but the key was found in the lining of Turec’s hat. The stamps were found beneath a cleverly-con-cealed bottom tray. Accused were committed for trial.
