ST. JOHN’S SHOW
FURTHER AWARDS. The annual summer show held ih St. John’s Hall yesterday afternoon was largely attended, though the weather conditions were not inviting. The displays of blooms, particularly in the cut flowers sections, attracted much interest, and the various stalls were well patronised. Mrs 0. McLean (secretary) and her helpers deserve credit for their excellent management of the show, and their efforts towards the success of the function. The games, which were to be conducted on the lawn, had to be abandoned, owing to the rain. Additional awards were:— Six Spikes Gladioli (not more than two of any one variety) (3): Mrs. E.
