THE SUN. The sun sets to-day at 8.4 p.m.; rises to-morrow at 5.24 a.m. WEATHER REPORT Wind, east; barometer, 30.20; thermometer, 64; tides, moderate; bar, slight swell; river, normal; sky, blue. AT OTHER CENTRES.
WEATHER FORECAST. General inference: Except for a slight fall of pressure there has been very little change in the situation. An intense ,anti-cyclone still covers New Zealand, and the east of it. On this depressions from the west are at present unable to make much impression. Disturbed conditions prevail over tropical Australia. Forecast: Light to moderate but freshening east to north winds, weather fair to fine, and warm. Seas smooth to moderate.
