“NUDIST” WEDDING

SCENE AT LOS ANGELES. LOS ANGELES, November 25. The first wedding in the United States of persons who belong to the believers in wearing the minimum of clothing was celebrated in a sylvan glade near here to-day. The bridegroom, James Goodman, is a railway guard, who said he became a devotee of the “nudist” cut at week-ends because his uniform was so uncomfortable. The bridal couple, the clergyman, the brdiesmaids, and some thirty guests were all very lightly clothed, the only fashion note being supplied by the best man, who was dressed with more regard to custom but wore sandals. After the ceremony the bride, with only a diamond wedding ring added to her attire, held an informal reception.
