SELLING WOOL

BRADFORD EXPERT’S ADVICE [by CABLE —PBESS ASSN. —COPYBIGHT.] s* k (Reed. Jan. 5,2 p.m.). LONDON, January 4. . Sir Frederick Aykroyd, at the British Wool Federation dinner, emphasised Sir Graham Waddell’s warning to Australian wool growers, to think carefully before selling wool on their properties. If everyone did this, it would be impossible to discover the market price, which "was decided by the world demand and consumption. The level w r as lower than the auction level, as the latter produced keen international competition. Sir Z. Aykroyd regretted that wool sales were held in too many centres in Australia, as buyers could not be in two places simultaneously. It would be better to send more to London, where more wool could be sold daily than at any other centre, and where there were always plenty of buyers.
