The King’s New Year Honours on the recommendation of Mr Bennett, regardless of th© Commons opposing the resolution in 1919. threatens a storm when the Commons meets on January 25. . Mr MacKenzie King, Opposition Leader, to-day, attacked the action as an affront to Parliament. The restoration of titles, he declared, was a rash unjust attempt to create in Canada, a social order based on titular' distinctions. A Toronto message states that the trustees of Massey hail, the laigest city auditorium, to-day banned all further Communist meetings, following the refusal of two thousand to stand when the National Anthem was played.
