At Leichardt Stadium, in a colourful wrestling bout, the American, Jake Patterson, defeated the Australian, King Elliott, by two falls to one in five rounds. Patterson was heavier and stronger than his opponent. BOXING. BOSTON, December 8. Vince Dundee, retained the middleweight boxing crown to-night, in a' close-decision fifteen rounds fight against Andy Callahen, of Lawrence; Massachusetts. WHIPPET RACING. An exhibition of whippet racing was staged at Dunollie yesterday, when interesting events were decided, before a fair public attendance. The results were:—•
