SHIPPING NOTES The Totara arrived this morning, from Wellington. She is to sail this evening, for New Plymouth. The Huanui arrived on Saturday afternoon from Foxton. She sailed this afternoon on return.

The Kanna arrived this morning, from Bluff. She is to sail on Wednesday evening with timber for Melbourne and Adelaide. The Te Aroha arrived this morning from Nelson. She is to sail to-mor-row, for Hokitika. The Kaimai is due on Wednesday from Lyttelton to load timber and coal for Wellington and Miramar.

The Karepo is due on Thursday from New Plymouth to load timber for Sydney and Newcastle. The Kalingo is duo on December 18 to load timber for Sydney and Brisbane. This vessel has been fixed to load timber at Clarence River about January 5, and to complete at Newcastle with timber, steel, etc., as available for Auckland, Tauranga, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Greymouth. The Gabriella leaves Auckland tomorrow, via Napier with general cargo. She is due next Saturday to load timber for Sydney and Brisbane. The Kaimiro was to leave Dunedin on Friday last with cargo for Westport and Greymouth. Greymouth cargo is being transhipped at Westport. The Alexander leaves Wanganui today for Westport and Greymouth. She is due on Wednesday to load coal for Picton. The Rata leaves Timaru to-day, Lyttelton to-morrow, and Wellington Wednesday, for Nelson, Westport, and Greymouth. She is <lll6 on Friday night, to load coal for Wanganui. OTHER PORTS.
