The Huanui arrived last night from Foxton, and sailed this morning, with coal on return.

The Gabriella sailed last evening for Sydney and Newcastle. The Rata sailed last evening for Westport, to complete with coal for Nelson and Wanganui. The Fairburn sailed last evening, with timber, for Wellington. The Karepo arrived this morning, from Westport, to complete loading for Wellington and Auckland. She is scheduled to sail to-moiTow evening. The Kaimiro is due to-morrow from Wellington to load timber for Melbourne and Adelaide. Tho Kiwitea is due to-morrow from Lyttelton to load timber and coal for Miramar and Wellington . The Kini is due on Thursday from Napier to load for Gisborne, completing at Westport for Wellington and Napier. The Kalingo is due the first week in November to load timber for Sydifey and Newcastle. ORIENT’S NEW LINER.

LONDON, October 30.

The Orient line told the “Sun—-Her-ald” service that they were calling tenders within a few days for a large new passenger ship, for the Australian trade. It is understood that the vessel will replace the Orsova, and is expected to be of 25,000 tons.
