FRENCH CRACK KILLED

The air ace Deverneuilh, who accompanied M. Cot to Russia, was killed in a crash at Blaisyhaut, with his mechanic and wireless operator, in. the famous plane “Biarritz,” in which he flew to New Caledonia, in 1932.

SYDNEY, October 30.
The “Faithful City” monoplane arrived at. Sydney at 5.55 p.m. Mr Greene and party were warmly welcomed.
IMPERIAL AIRWAYS.
LONDON, October 30.
Sir E. Geddes explained that passengers will be taken by rail from Paris to Brindisi, owing to political objection to the Imperial Airways service operating from France to Italy, along the Mediterranean coast. He is hopeful that, the objections which formerly prevented Italy permitting operation along this route, will shortly be removed.
