RIFLE SHOOTING
BRUNNERTON DEFENCE R.C. The shoot for Mr. G. Nimmo’s Trophy was concluded yesterday in perfect weather. The members who shot on Labour Day were not so fortunate, as a changeable light and heavy wind made shooting difficult. Rifleman R. Le Oren was the winner with a total of 97 points. There was phenomenal scoring at the Anzac Rifle Range yesterday. W. Draper, using Mark VII. ammunition, scored 49 bulls out of 50 shots, also scoring 30 bulls in succession, which is an Australian, if not a world’s record,
