WEATHER FORECAST. General inference: An extensive and rather deep depression from the Tasman Sea is advancing onto New Zealand. Yesterday’s reports indicated that further westerly depressions were following closely. Forecast: Moderate to strong northerly winds, backing later to westerlies. Weather dull, and mild rain probable, with some heavy falls in the ranges. Seas rough.
