After being baptised a Catholic,, on his death bed, Hiroyuki Kawai, Japanese Ambassador to Poland, died, today. Kawai, who had suffered a lengthy illness, expressed a. wish yesterday, for conversion. His wife, who was already a Catholic, requested the presence of th© Papal Nuncio, who immediately instructed Kawai to be baptised.
