Lethorn was a passenger by this morning’s express to Christchurch. Dr. I. C. Macintyre, medical superintendent of the Cashmere Sanatorium, Christchurch, who was to have been in Blenheim on Thursday last on a tour connected with the group treatment of tuberculosis, is indisposed at Nelson. Guests at Revington’s include: — Mr and Mrs J. H. Cummingham (Reefton), Messrs R. Scott • (Auckland), W. Patrick, 11. C. Ford (Christchurch), J. L. Trapp (Melbourne), A. Short (Wellington). The death is announced from Blenheim of Mr. John Tinline Mowat, seventy years of age. lie was a member of a well-known Marlborough family, and for the last two years acted as honorary secretary of the Blenheim Relief of Distress Committee. He also had full control of the relief depot.—Press Assn.
