WEATHER FORECAST. General inference: A deep depression is now passing the southern extremity of the Dominion. A rather intense anti-cyclone is moving across Australia and barometers are already rising under its influence over the western portion of the Tasman sea. Forecast: Strong northerly winds to gales, backing shortly to southerly. Weather unsettled, and considerable flooding, but improving somewhat tomorrow. Temperatures becoming cold. Seas rough to heavy.
