RIFLE-SHOOTING
GREY LADIES’ CLUB. The Grey Ladies’ Miniature Rifle Club met last evening to shoot for “The Sports’ Trophy.” Seven shots to count and sighter allowed. Miss R. Cairney was the winner, with a score of 68.35. Miss Cairney was also the winner of the Hotty Button with a score of 67 out of a possible 70. Misses N. Hamilton and E. Tilleyshort were runners up with a score of .65. T-he following were the scores, with percentage handicaps: — Score H’cap Total p.c.
The results of the President’s versus Vice-President’s teams’ match was:—President’s: Mrs Richardson 60, Miss Hubbard 64, Miss Woollett 55, Miss Hamilton 54, Mrs Seebeck 43; total 276. Vice-President’s: Miss Cairney 67, Miss N. .Hmilton 65, Miss Tilleyshort 65, Mrs Kirkwood 62, Miss Cooper 60, Total 319.
