WELLINGTON TRAGEDY
WOMAN AND CHILD IDENTIFIED. [PEB PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, July 3. The woman found dead in a flat at Ohiro Road on Friday has been identified as Mrs Cecilia Smith, a widow, and the little boy found drowned has been identified as her son, George Noel Smith, aged four. The police are continuing their investigation. George Janes, who was rescued from drowning in the harbour, is progressing satisfactorily.
