MAMOS DEFEATS PEREIRA. [per press association.] WELLINGTON, July 3. Remarkable staying' power and an ,eye to the main chance enabled Harry Manios to defeat Al Pereira in the Town Hall, this evening, in a wrestling contest. Mam os, who at list 51b was giving away 131 b, secured the only fall of the contest with a press in less than a minute after the opening of the sixth round. Pereira missed with a flying tackle, and he was easily pinned. The closing rounds were full of action and thrills, but Manios, on the defensive, proved 100 hard a nut to crack.
