Francois Marsal,. ex-Premier and Minister of Finance was charged with abuse of confidence and breach of the company law, ,in connection with transactions involving £280,000, during the operations of a syndicate to support shares in a West African company. ROMANTIC MARRIAGE. LONDON, March 31. Mr John Amery, son of Mr L. S. Amery, M.P., was married to Miss Una Wing, an actress, in a private chapel in Athens by a Greek Archimandrite, who had previously baptised them into the Greek Orthodox faith. In August last year, the young couple attempted to marry at Chelsea (England),; but the registrar declined to perform the ceremony, because John was tinder age, being 20, while Miss Wing was 22. JAP SHIP SUNK. SYDNEY, April 12. Advice was received from Noumea of a severe cyclone on Sunday, doing considerable damage. The Japanese ship Juyomaru, from Vancouver to Sydney was about to call at Noumea during the height of a cyclone, and sank about two miles from shore. PORTUGUESE MINISTRY LISBON, April 11.
