BRITAIN’S WARM SPRING

RUGBY, April 8.
An exceptional spell of wahn, sunny weather, which has been almost unbroken in Southern England since March 21, continues. London enjoyed 10.4 hours of sunshine yesterday, with a maximum temperature of 69 degrees Fahrenheit. Summer time begins to-night, and it will encourage the people to take full advantage of the Spring sunshine. The weather forecast states that an anti-cyclone, which covers the British Isles, shows no immediate signs of dispersing.

PARIS, April 10
The Fire Commercial Tribunal, hearing the Compagnie Sud-Atlan-tique’s claim, arrived at a compromise, by appointing three experts to reexamine the vessel and report whether it can be repaired; also thoroughlj’ to re-examine the cost, of repairs.
