PROSPECTORS KILLED
NEW GUINEA TRAGEDY. [BY CABLE PRESS ASSN. — COPYRIGHT.] CANBERRA, January 26. Hostile tribesmen in the Morobe district of New Guinea killed William Naylor and Emile Clarius, and nine native carriers, on January 7. The white men were prospectors, working in a native area. A Government party went to the scene, and they were ambushed. In a consequent fight, three natives were killed. There were no Government casualties.
