Nine were killed and eleven were seriously injured in a fierce Communist and police clash at Dresden, which occurred when the police were instructed to break up a Communist meeting. HITLER’S SURRENDER. (Recd. January 27, 1 p.m.) BERLIN, January 26. Hitler has abandoned the all-or-nothing policy, and has informed President Hindenburg h- no longer demanded the Chancellorship as a, condition of supporting the President. The way is thus paved for the formation of a Cabinet of all the Right parties, including the Centre Nazis. It is understood that the latter will accept Vori Papen as Chancellor, but General Schleicher is unlikely to surrender office tamely.
