Britain intends to continue her strenuous opposition. BRITAIN’S TRADE RETURNS. LONDON, November 11. The Board of Trade figures for October, compared with the corresponding period for the previous year, were:—lmports £60,828,000, exports £30,440,000, re-exports £3,692,000. The principal decreases in imports are: Grain and flour £431,000; meat, £1,525,000; live animals, £1,162,000; other food and drink, £2,847,000. In exports, iron, steel and manufactures thereof £1,096,000; cotton yarhs and manufactures, £841,000; woollen do. £1,302,000; apparel, £1,191,000; coal, £586,000; machinery, £543,000. Increases were: Imports — Cotton, £791,000; wool, £295,0000.
