Tho commencement of work on the extension of the dental clinic in the Greymouth Main School grounds has been postponed until the Christmas school holidays, in order that no inconvenience will be caused the nurses. The Education Board estimated the cost of the extension at £95, but on receipt of this estimate, the Greymouth Dental Clinic Committee prepared a modified plan, which was subsequently approved by both the Department of Health and the Education Board. When tenders were first called some contractors, owing to a misunderstanding, tendered for labour only, and others for the whole job, and consequently none was accepted. Fresh tenders will probably be called shortly.
