A TIMELY BETRAYAL. A visitor to the country while being shown over the farm had' the misfortune to slip, unnoticed by his host, into a watercourse. Although only his feet were wet, he spent a very unhappy day trying to conceal his discomfort. But what a smile concealed, a sneeze soon betrayed and he was finally obliged to explain what happened. “Oh! I’ll soon fix you up,” assured the wife of his host, who brought out a large bottle of Baxter’s Lung Preserver. “Here in the country we could not afford to be without our ‘Baxter’s.’ We’re never without a bottle.” This faith in “Baxter’s” is typical af nearly all New Zealand people, who arecognise “Baxter’s” as the outstanding remedy for coughs, colds, chills and chest troubles. Nearly everybody is familiar with this rich, red, warming, soothing specific which gives such wonderful relief. “Baxter’s" tonic properties are a great aid in accelerating recovery. All chemists and stores sell “Baxter’s” in three popular sizes, 4/6, 2/6 and 1/6. — Advt.
